The Olympic boxer dude is suing Elon and JK Rowling for cyberbullying

Imane Khelif 'names Elon Musk and JK Rowling' in cyberbullying lawsuit after winning Olympic boxing gold amid gender dispute
quote:
Algerian boxer Imane Khelif has named Elon Musk and JK Rowling in a lawsuit filed to French authorities over alleged 'acts of aggravated cyber harassment' after they led outcry at her participation in the Paris Olympics.
Nabil Boudi, the gold medalist's Paris-based attorney, told Variety that the Tesla mogul and Harry Potter author were both named in the criminal complaint posted to the anti-online hatred center of the public prosecutor's office last week.
The suit was filed against Musk's social media network, X, which means it was filed against 'unknown persons' per French Law.
Boudi explained that it ensures that the 'prosecution has all the latitude to be able to investigate against all people,' including those who shared hateful messages under pseudonyms.
'J. K. Rowling and Elon Musk are named in the lawsuit, among others,' Boudi wrote on X, noting that that Donald Trump would also be part of the investigation.
'Trump tweeted, so whether or not he is named in our lawsuit, he will inevitably be looked into as part of the prosecution,' he added.

Algerian guy gets a pass from me. His gold medal resulted in the US topping the medal table.

You either support free speech, or you don’t.
To hell with these authoritarian ministry of truth assholes.
They are literally the bad guys now…and more and more ARE waking up.

You are OK with dudes beating up on women if it means the USA wins the medal count?
Is that the only time you are OK with men in women's sports?
What if one takes away an opportunity from your daughter? Will your mind change then?
Where's the line for you?

So a guy posing as a girl can sue the rich folk for saying they are a guy? Makes sense these days.

I'm just glad that someone is taking this important issue so seriously. Someone has to protect the values of defendants in French civil court.
ETA: The Algerian dude isn't the hill to die on in this fight, by the way. It was born with both. Not the same thing as the freaks we have in the US wanting to play with the girls.

I am talking about men in women's sports and yes its a serious issue but according to you not that serious if it means the USA winning the medal count that no one will remember in two weeks.

Read my edit. This dude isn't the hill to die on for this issue. And FWIW, I think the solution at the Olympic level is to go from men and womens sports to open and women's sports. The "theys" can compete with the men in the open category, with women's events reserved for real women.
My initial post was a joke. Of course I agree with you on the merits of the issue. But I won't pretend to be outraged by the machinations of liberal European legal systems.

How did this dude pull this off in a sunni Muslim country? Do you think the average Algerian supports this freak or thinks he’s an abomination?

It isn't a trans. It was legit born with both sex organs.
Algeria does not play the gender fluid game. The mere fact that it was on the team should be some indication that this isn't the same thing as the dick-tucking UPenn swimmer, etc.

If it’s truly a hermaphrodite .. they should be disqualified from participating due to the biological/genetic disadvantage facing the opponents who lack a Y chromosome. I imagine, based on their build, they probably would have won a few of the male bouts
