Hate him. That’s fine. He is a massive douche. But good lord what he is doing on the basketball court at this stage in life is special

Tim Robbins is also a massive pecker but Shawshank is a masterpiece

Now imagine the hate he would get if his game fell to what we expect from a normal 40 year... dude the best at the game of basketball ever... even if you want to argue he not the best player ever... if that makes sense

He’s the best player on team USA at 39. Over 40,000 points, 11,000 rebounds, 11,000 assists. Best all around basketball player ever. Best basketball IQ of all time. I couldn’t disagree with him anymore politically, and some of his actions off the court.

Fact of the matter is Lebron is so polarizing some people can’t put their bias aside and admit his greatness. He’s not Ghandi, but I do think he’s the best basketball player who has ever lived. Jordan might be too, who knows, I just find it funny the way people will never be able to see Lebron from an unbiased perspective on the court, and the loopholes people take to try and discredit what Lebron has done, and is doing. It’s clockwork, and quite funny to see.

Steph just saved him from having one of the most embarrassing losses in Olympic history

Don't really care that he put up numbers on the farmers that they played in 3 of the 5 games

You know he just played the best player in the world with 4 other NBA players and a bunch of EuroLeague stars, right?

I still want to know what drugs and protocol he's on - it should be legal for everyone.

Agreed but he’s on an extremely restrictive and precise diet. He’s also known to sleep 10+ hours a night.

Professional athletes that have longevity are most impressive off the court. They have protocols that the average person couldn’t keep up with for a week.

Yeah, I think it’s abundantly clear at this point that he’s a perfectionist in all facets of life.

It was mentioned on the broadcast that the coaching staff was amazed by the level of intensity he’s brought to the Olympic practices.

It’s also been said he’s really intentful about not wasting money…constantly canceling subscriptions his family isn’t using and listening to the free version of Pandora with ads.

Jordan had the best peak, but Lebron had the best career. Jordan during that 6-7 year run had higher peaks than Lebron. Lebron has been better over the totality, including being better pre-prime than Jordan was and being better post prime than Jordan.

They are the two greatest to ever lace them up. Lebron could never hit Jordan's peak, but Jordan wasn't out there being arguably the best player in the world still at nearly 40 years old either.

I wish the people who had the opportunity to watch both weren't so caught up in their Jordan bias, or later political bias to absolutely enjoy and relish the chance to see both play the game. Peak Jordan and Lebron's longevity are things we will most likely not see again, and certainly the game most likely won't see them again in succession. Too many people have spent the last 20 years finding something wrong and not realizing how special it is to watch an all-timer's career.

LeBron has a game and physicality that is beyond brilliant. He's relentless and without his willpower last night, the US was going to get their feelings hurt. The Sebs were determined to play thug ball and the refs were helping them with their gameplan. Only LeBron at 39 freakin' years was still physically willing his team to that 4th quarter comeback. European basketball is thug city. The US better think twice about inviting all these finesse players to the Olympics and who won't get down and dirty with these thugs.

LeBron guarded Joker for the 4th quarter last night and it shut down Serbia’s pick and roll game that was getting them so many open threes. Joker could not match 39 year old LeBron’s physicality in that moment.

PEDs are a wonderful thing especially when your competition can’t use them and you’re never tested for them.

Most people could if they made 9 figures and hired a team to keep them on it.

Why would only LeBron be able to use them, and none of the other NBA players?
