I know a lot of teachers and coaches

Something doesn't seem right with Walz.
I think its extremely strange that Walz, a former high school coach and teacher took 35 trips to China, including his honeymoon in the 90s.
I think its extremely strange that a high school football coach just up and started a club for Gay students in 1999 in a city that was conservative (Bush won all three counties in Mankato area in 2000).
The military issues are weird. The fact that he owns no investments or real estate is weird.
A high school teacher that goes straight from the classroom to Congress is weird. That district is conservative TODAY - how did a complete Marxist win in 2006 by six points against a 6-term Republican incumbent and then by 16 in 2008 when Obama carried the district by 3 in historic fashion?
His district voted for the Republican in 2022 Governor's race 52-45.
Something sinister is going on.

My point was that in 1999, this was not a popular thing to do, and certainly not by football coaches in conservative areas.

I’m a gay dude and I taught HS in TX from 2001-2007. There was not one single gay club at the three schools I taught at. Granted it’s TX, but ain’t no football coach got time to sponsor any club. Ain’t no football coach starting a gay club. He’d lose the locker room and respect of the other coaches. And certainly in 1999.
Everything about this guy is fake and inauthentic.

What is odd about the military?
He put in 24 years and wanted to retire..
Started his second life adventure and since he had so much time with them and teaching was a simple retirement.pretty impressive .. I would have just gone to the camp.. my dad was military .he retired with about 24 years and then started a landscaping business… . everyone I know ( which is a lot).. retired and started second careers in their late 40 to 50s
He has a school pension and military so did not invest in retirement and used money on life.. I disagree with it but then again I did not get a pensions (s). My dad had no stock.. he put his money in CDs ..
That is a lot of travel to China .. I know people that went there for honeymoon etc to see the Great Wall .. I have been a lot for work.. very interesting but still 35 trips? Guess that is why he has no stocks.. Fwiw I would not visit China now.. world is more angry at others than they used to be.
