I have a 2012 Nautic Star 2200 TE that getting ready to sell. I’m looking for someone in the Baton Rouge area to clean wax and buff. I’m not in the market for ceramic coating. TIA for any recommendations that you may have.

Yes. I'm in the business and I've seen his work. He uses quality brand product and puts out good work. Matt Quibadeaux (sp?) is the dude's name. He's located off Airline Hwy near Celebration Station and the bowling alley.

Here's some photos off his Facebook page:

The only guy I've seen better is Jacob's Detailing, but he's no longer in business. He went back to his engineering job when they made him too good of an offer.

Agree on VIP, used Jacob before he went back to engineering.
Have had 2 cars and just had my 22’ Nautic Star ceramic coated by VIP and happy with their work.

Yes I’ve been enjoying the engineering life again. I did a boat or two here and there end of last year but work and kids sports keep me busy.
I’d also highly recommend Matt and his crew at VIP
I wish i had the time to get back with it, i miss it

Another vote for VIP, our local boat mechanic gave me their info and they're highly regarded around the area. You get what you pay for

You have any recommendations in the Slidell area? A few have started posting in fishing groups.

I think most places are give or take $20 per foot of boat or so for a good, reputable place

thats about average. for a basic detail and wax. i went up some due to the cost of materials and when i had employees. but 20-30$ a foot for inside and out is about normal.
