If tweet fails to load, click here. Is Kyle, Texas considered a suburb of Austin or San Marcos? It seems like a ton of new homes are popping up around Kyle on both sides of I-35. Is this just a leftover from the remote work / "Zoom town" craze, or are people actually living and commuting to jobs from Kyle and Buda?

People actually live there and commute to their jobs. Cheaper to go south than to go north or west of Austin.

Is this the first time a suburb has outgrown its city?

Celina is exploding with growth. I really like Georgetown. They have one of the best town squares in Texas.

A lot of Indians moving to Collin county. They go to Irving and Richardson first for the high paying tech jobs, then marry and have kids in an exurb 4/3/2, 3,500 sq. ft. with good schools.
The American dream.

More likely folks from New Delhi than people swimming the river.
For instance: I routinely go to a certain national discount store where there will be more Indians inside than white folk.

Kyle is a suburb of Austin.
San Marcos is becoming a suburb of Austin.
Soon, like we have DFW, we will have ASA.

Whole I-35 between Austin and San Antonio is all connected. Might as well be Dallas and Fort Worth.

Surprised that Leander, Cedar Park and Liberty Hill aren’t on the list

It’s not surprising that most foreigners appreciate what the US has to offer, and they eventually make great Americans.

Lathrop CA must be the Texas departure processing center.

And the Californians will still vote Democrat. Precisely the reason they left in the first place.
