Watched this last night & enjoyed it quite a bit. Michael Keaton plays a hit man diagnosed with a severe form of dementia trying to execute one last plan before he totally loses his mind.

Michael Keaton also directed it. I’ve been meaning to watch it.

I almost started it but thought it might be a geezer teaser and didn't. I'll put it back in the queue.

Agreed was a good flick

Keaton is really good, but this film has sleepy white noise energy. The visualization of dementia was effective. The pace and editing style was not, at least for me. We have the crime thriller beats playing at a contemplative drama pace, but I felt like we were missing the "contemplative" content needed to make that all cohere. It's not bad; it's just missing something.
I did like that Keaton clearly watched Cold War a few years ago, and, as many of us did, said, "I wouldn't mind acting in a scene with her."

I ended up enjoying it. It does move slowly but I think it worked. It had a lot of hitman tropes and yet was not the typical hitman or action flick.

Good, interesting watch. Not what I was expecting going in.
SPOILER below:
Why did Al Pacino turn him into the cops but then still send his cash out money to his family? I figured he did that so he could steal it.

He told him to. Was all part of his plan.
I enjoyed the movie.

Enjoyed it. But now I'm questioning if I have dementia.

Yeah, he actually told Xavier (Pachino) in their last phone call to tell the police he had three bodies at his house when he made the call to the police.

I totally missed that. I thought he just told Pacino he had three bodies. Good catch.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The three bodies being there were luck, his plan from the jump was to set his son up so he would tell the truth believably when confronted with the evidence discovered at his house.
Then he tells him he made the irs tip off, planting the seed that grows into his last scene in custody
I think that's why Pacino was so hesitant believing he could pull it all off given his state. It was a brilliant plan, executed flawlessly given the circumstances

You can tell she cared for him but you can't take the hooker out of someone like that so she did the classic FAFO.
