“JD Vance might have been a mistake.”

I’m hearing quite a few on the right say this on social media. Can someone explain this?

RINOs, mainly.
They wanted a pick like Haley to have one of their folks inside the bubble. I suppose they already forgot that they stuck Trump with Pence last time and he's learned from that.

Yeah, I based my 2016 vote on Mike Pence.

Two groups:
1. Weak people who never remember anything in politics beyond 6 months, who probably bailed on Romney after the 47% comment
2. People that never wanted Vance in the first place and were just waiting for an excuse to be proven "right" on the internet.
#2 is more common here, but we have a few #1s

Also, reminder, the internet has a ton of goobers on both sides spouting unqualified and uninformed opinions

It's the same people that wanted Nikki Haley or some other establishment war hawk. Pay them no mind.
That said, the cat lady comment was pretty stupid.

Let’s see who Harris picks. Till then…

your tiring with that Rons bots, why are you trying to divide the vote we need?

There’s always a facet of the news cycle that will operate as a good litmus test on who I need to take seriously or not.
This is an absolutely perfect one.

It is a mistake.
Still trump all the way.
But, Vance is a fake Appalachian.
He's had like 3 last names.
Was too stupid to get into college or an ROTC scholarship after high school.
He's a creation of some high powered folks on the Right.
He's basically Republican Obama.

This election is going to be the biggest gaslighting psyop in the history of the world. Trust what your gut tells you, not what you see or hear anywhere else. There is alot riding on this election for the left. They will have the right so confused by the time November gets here, and they don't care what results from it as long as Trump doesn't win.

Strong Ron DeSantis supporters are probably the single most supportive bloc of JD Vance
You're so eaten up with it

All these Vance supporters live in an internet echo chamber and have no idea how repulsive Vance and his type are to normal, not-terminally-online people.
The Kamala campaign is going to get a ton of mileage out of Vance as he continues to dig his grave deeper and deeper.
Vance just typifies how weird the very online and live in a bubble Trumptards are.
Youngkin would have been a great pick.

-Burgam and Carson would have been grilled as old & anti-abortion
- Rubio would have been grilled as an establishment puppet
-Vivek would have been grilled as no experience
There is not a single pick that Trump could have been that would have been not criticized.
Vance is here for a purpose. To appeal to the rust belt men. & Against Kamala, Trump/Vance will deliver. Let’s not overthink this. The right loves to loathe itself meanwhile Dems rally around the worse VP in history

Trump greatly outperformed Vance in Ohio. Vance isn't giving him any extra votes there. He barely won his seat in his own election with thiel making millions rain on him. Vance does nothing for trump in respect to election.
