90 in Miami?! Where the hell are they putting 90 high rises in Miami?

I’m still amazed that downtown Orlando does not have a bigger skyline. It’s a metro of well over 2 million and their downtown looks like a Macon GA lol

The Map considers a High Rise as ten or more stories... so hardly a high rise...

Also, I'm pretty sure there are several condo buildings 10 stories or higher being built in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach currently. Map does not include those.

It's only MSAs over 500k.

In Louisiana Parishes were they would erect a building more than 10 stories, it's coded out. For example in St. Tammnay:

quote:

No building or dwelling for residential or business purposes shall exceed thirty-five (35) feet in height above the natural grade


So they go wide instead of tall.

NYC has kind of quietly built a lot of tall buildings this century. The ESB once again became the tallest building in the city after 9/11 and seven buildings have surpassed it in height since then.
