That the PARTY appointed a candidate that NOT ONE of the parties members voted for nor liked before the propaganda machine started rolling. AFTER appointing Hillary after Bernie beat her fair and square. This is the party of the people???

“It’s their job to tell you what to think.”

Legally they are allowed to, but the last time they were obvious about this was Chicago in 1968 and that ended poorly.
They have obfuscated how they chose their candidates in the prior two cycles by using a veneer of democracy while forcing their choice through.

Hillary over Bernie in 2016 was payback for Obama over Hillary in 2008.

Two-thirds of Americans in a new ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll – including a majority of Joe Biden’s own supporters – say he should step aside as his party’s presumptive nominee for president given his debate performance two weeks ago.
If Democrat voters are as upset as the GOP is about Biden stepping aside for Harris, Trump should cruise to victory come November.

They are protecting and preserving democracy.
Why is that so difficult for the American non-elites to accept?

Doesn't matter. The media will try to create this new, revitalized image of Kamala by using vomit-inducing propaganda and censoring any criticism of her. I don't believe it will actually work, but you never know.
Hell, someone apparently already got the message out to Chicken. Kamala is not be criticized for being functionally retarded, a whore, a fake African American, a cackling hyena, and possibly the harlot of Babylon.
Trump? He's fair game of course.

How many of those democrat voters actually voted for Kamala?
They wanted him to step aside so they could stop pretending that Joe Biden was some bastion of democracy. It had to be exhausting after 4 years

NPC’s will accept whatever happens to them in the game.
The question will be whether or not the non-NPC’s will accept it after the election.

We have been told over and over for years and years that we live in a democracy.
It is a pleasant surprise to see that so many understand now that what we really have is the illusion of democracy.

You can do that when most of your voters don’t actually vote themselves.

C19 confirmed the thinking - we can do whatever we want as the vast majority will simply follow our lead

If you’re a Trump supporter, you need to chill. They’ve anointed the worst candidate!

Democrats destroying democratic institutions are par for the course.
Leftists care about power, not process.

Hey jack, just shut up and let democracy work. Our freedom is on the ballet.

Agree.
The problem is that the media might be able to keep that a secret from the public.

Calm down Francis.
The Democrats haven't even held their convention yet.

First, Bernie didn't bet Hillary.
Second, the way the parties nominating process works is that primaries determine who gets to choose the delegates. In the case of the Democrats this year Biden got to choose all but 7.
At the nominating convention (which for the Dems isn't until August), those delegates choose the nominee. Biden has refused the nomination, so the delegates can't vote for him. Instead he asked his delegates (people he got to select due to the primaries) to vote for Harris. That's what most will do.
This is similar to the Democratic party primary in 1968. LBJ ran in early primaries and then withdrew from the race. He still got to select his delegates. He told them to vote for his VP, Hubert Humphreys. Kennedy ran but got killed during the primaries. His delegates couldn't vote for him as he was dead. They were able to vote for whoever they liked. In several states, local politicians ran in the primaries to secure delegates that they could control, not to be elected themselves but to be able to choose the eventual nominee. McCarthy ran and won a number of delegates, but mostly from Primaries. Humphrey didn't appear on any primary ballots due to getting into the race too late after LBJ withdrew and Kennedy died. He did win a lot of caucuses though.
All of those delegates got to choose who the nominee was at the convention.
Nominating a party candidate is NOT an election. The FEC doesn't cover it in any way. It's okay for them to follow whatever process they like to choose their candidate. Both the GOP and Democrats use the "delegate process", not a direct election.
