And be presidential. They are going to try to bait him into giving them the soundbites they need. Kamala herself will try. I believe many who do not like Trump actually want to like him. Since the attempt on his life I believe he has gained respect from some people who he never had it from before. Just don’t frick it up. Stay focused on the issues and he wins easy.

Was just talking with a guy that fits this description today. And he said exactly the above.
If he would act more "Presidential" and quit going for the cheap shots his die hard fans, that will never leave him anyway, adore he'd win in a monumental landslide.

With a lead in the polls, I do not think Trump will or needs to debate anymore. All he has to say is we were given another candidate who the Dem voters never voted for. She's a deep state plant.

He's just got to be less unlikeable than Kamala. Trump can certainly frick that up. I've learned to never doubt Trumps ability to throw a rake in front of himself and then step on it when things should be going well for him.

If this is the reason someone would cast a vote for the Filth over Trump then they are mentally ill and cannot be saved.

I agree that it’s stupid that suburbanites vote with their feelings as opposed to voting on actual policies. But to be fair, the base of the GOP does the same thing. We saw them vote in favor of their feelings over conservative policies in the primary. These suburbanites do the same thing that MAGA does.

Liz Cheney is not an outlier. There are millions of Republicans that do not like Trump. Then add in all the new Gen z voters and the huge loss of boomers during covid. Trump's base hasn't changed or expanded.
