Complete incompetent DEI buffoonery or planned top-down intentionally leaving an unsecured elevated position to give wide open crack to a shooter?

You don't have to be fully in one camp.

Incompetence vs. intentional
50/50
60/40
20/80

Etc.

Curious where most are at this point.

incompetence for sure. DEI over time has led it to the intentional route when shite like this happens.

Intentional. You cannot be in that role and be that incompetent.

Especially when the reason it wasn’t covered is an obvious lie.

my vote is complete incompetence. Seeing the reaction after the shot confirmed for me the DEI SS had no clue what to do. Why would i think these same agents would no how to properly plan for the event beforehand

35 incompetence / 65 intentional

The absurdity of the "roof was too sloped" explanation tipped me towards intentional.

It was either the greatest most incompetent event in US political history or he had assistance.

Intentional.

I believe Biden(democrats ) tried to take him out. It was the only thing left they hadn’t tried.

Incompetence

But I wouldn't be surprised if some people at USSS would have liked for it to succeed, and I wouldn't be surprised if in some way that crept into the ineptitude that nearly allowed it to succeed

I would be surprised if someone involved in this detail intentionally allowed for or facilitated him getting in position to take the shot, but it definitely wouldn't be as shocking a revelation as it might have been 10-20 years ago.

Incompetence 95%
Intentional 5%

This sounds counter-intuitive, but it seemed too blatant to be intentional to me.

Also, if it had been intentional I think the SS Director would have been part of the Fall Team. Instead, they're shielding her, which tells me that they are covering their own incompetence for putting her in that position to begin with.

60/40 intentional.

We'll never know though because neither side wants to fight this fight.

Incompetence.

Gross negligence is more accurate though.

Securing a roof from the inside? Wtf

This one is tricky. If they intentionally left the roof unsecured then they knew for a fact that he was going to be up there shooting.
