Not surprised. We have a lot of questions right now. A hole at the center position with questionable depth up front. No idea what the starting line up is going to be and no idea what the hierarchy with Ingram is going to look like.
Hell, we don't even know if the lineup of Murray, CJ, Ingram, Zion, and whoever they put next to them will work. Most other teams already have a clearly defined hierarchy and structure while we are going into another year of odd roster construction.

I believe last year's line was either 44.5 or 45.5.

We're a terrible team to bet on for this.

If the pelicans finish with 45 wins or less in year 6 of rebuild that has never seen us clear the play-in tournament, Griff and Zion should be run out of town faster than an honest politician.

We were the 9th best team in the league last year... and if Zion isn't hurt in the playoffs I doubt we get swept, even by OKC.
I love to pile on Griffin as much as anyone, but it's not easy building a championship contender when you never know if your best player might play 20 games? 60 games? 70? Will he be available in the playoffs?
