For those of you who ask, this is why we call the left SCUM!!
Anyone who supports the LGBTQ movement supports their agenda. Their ultimate agenda is to frick kids.

Between the lunacy of the Alphabet People and their predilections to have sex with kids and their aversion to election integrity measures like Voter ID, it's amazing that there are reasonable adults left who would willingly vote Democrat.

You should really reevaluate your entire stance as a person when not being able to buy a kid to have sex with is a dealbreaker

A bill making it a felony to buy children for sex affects LGBTQ people more? And people wonder why we call them Pedo Groomers?

WTH? Its not ALREADY a felony?
Posted on 7/8/24 at 4:03 pm to Night Vision
First of all, isn't it already illegal to sell kids for sex? What am I missing?
Second, every single one of those people opposed to longer sentences for child predators can go straight to hell, and I think they will.
Finally, law enforcement should make note of each and every one of them and begin investigating them as they obviously don't have any issue with child molestation.
Everything that I never ever thought would even be considered acceptable in society is all of a sudden being given a voice in government. It is frightening what hell has been unleashed on this planet.

Statistics show bank robbers are more likely to be arrested for bank robbery than people who don't rob banks and it's just not fair.

Scum of the earth.
But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.. Matthew 18:6

From Reason Magazine: LINK
quote:
Under current California law, soliciting someone an offender knows or reasonably should know is a minor for prostitution is a misdemeanor, punishable by mandatory minimum imprisonment of 2 days in county jail and a possible punishment of up to one year in jail and a $10,000 fine.
So the bill is about punishment for solicitation of a minor not punishment for selling a child into prostitution
quote:
As introduced, the bill would have raised the offense to a felony and the punishment up to a possible four years in state prison and a fine of $25,000, "regardless of whether" defendants knew or should have known the person was a minor and regardless of whether defendants were themselves above age 18. It also included sex offender registration requirements.
quote:
The original version had no mens rea component for applying enhanced penalties—that is, it didn't matter if the person charged had no reason to believe the person solicited was under age 18. And it had no exceptions for when the person doing the soliciting was also a minor.
quote:
Under the amended versions of SB 1414, solicitation of a minor would sometimes be a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in county jail and sometimes be a felony punishable by up to three years in county jail. The stronger punishment would be available only when the defendant was 18 or older and "knew or should have known that the person who was solicited was a minor at the time of the offense." And it would only apply when "the solicited minor was under 16 years of age at the time of the offense, or if the person solicited was under 18 years of age at the time of the offense and the person solicited was a victim of human trafficking." A second or subsequent offense would always be a felony, and an offender more than 10 years older than the solicited minor would have to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
quote:
Note that nothing in the bill (as introduced or amended) would change penalties for people who force or coerce minors into prostitution. Nor would it affect the laws surrounding sexual activity with a minor. This is about solicitation, which is essentially a speech crime—the asking about sexual activity or offering of money for sex.
I understand some of the arguments to make amendments to the original bill..What I dont understand is what race, gender or sexual orientation have anything to do with it.

This is legit the woke infection of equity that is destroying us.
If anything affects a group disproportionately we can't allow it . But only if it's a progressive lefty sweet spot.
Cant sell kids for sex? Affect lgbtq people more. Can't have that law.
Standardized testing in education? Low scores affect black students more. Can't have that metric.
Charging people with shoplifting? Affects minorities more. Can't have that law .
Requiring equal physical standards for physically demanding positions? Affect women more. Can't have that standard.
And on and on. As we spiral down the toilet hole of woke critical theory applied.
Do you think 1 finger is raised for boys struggling disproportionately in education? Or Asians being excluded from basketball? Or women not being a 50% entity in the physical trades?
Nope. Those aren't progressive pet political issues.
Remember. Women and minorities. That is the prog base.
Except conservatives.
And Christians.
And pro lifers (49%of women in 2019).

Anyone voicing this opinion should not be allowed a voice in a public setting. There is no good reason to allow such evil and degradation an opportunity to address a state government.

Thank you.
The fact that it's only a misdemeanor is ridiculous.
Studies show that child molesters almost never get rehabilitated.
I say mandatory life sentence in gen pop and let the inmates take care of business.
It occurred to me recently that a reason inmates hate child predators is that the majority of them were abused as kids. Putting a hurt on child molesters is their way of getting back at their abusers.

quote:Most of the ones left are low info voters who don't pay attention to politics and still believe it's the same Dem party they grew up with or their parents voted for. Most of them are probably confused as hell because they've seen a massive narrative shift about Biden from the ABC,CBS,NBC nightly news the last 2 weeks. There are many who still believe what the talking box tells them, mostly older folks 55+.
Between the lunacy of the Alphabet People and their predilections to have sex with kids and their aversion to election integrity measures like Voter ID, it's amazing that there are reasonable adults left who would willingly vote Democrat.

How come it's ok for them to say it but I'm a "homophobe" if I say the same thing?
