Who is your favorite all-time recruit?

Doesn't have to be the best. Doesn't even have to be an LSU recruit. Just who you liked the most... or maybe wanted the most? Or liked for whatever reason...

Mine would be (and this is going to be a horribly popular answer): Russell Shep.

There's just not anything to not like about the kid.

2nd (this won't be popular): Joe McKnight.

Not just because it's the obvious choice, but Shep.

He's a class act, you gotta love him. He's extremely talented, good head on his shoulders, good leader, and recruits for us. I could go on and on.

for entertainment i would go with peter lalich because i played highschool ball twenty minutes from his high school and just transferred out of uva but was there for all of his shenanigans

seriously though, id go with arrelious benn or marvin austin - both in the top three at their position and decided to go to up and coming schools to help build a program, something i think says a lot about their character. btw they both start for illinois and unc, respectively.
