The way I think of it for this position (or any other, for that matter), is "If I could trade my team's QB for any other team's, who would I pick?"

I don't think there's a team in the league that wouldn't trade their QB for Patrick Mahomes.

It is pretty easily Mahomes right now. I think an argument can be made that, for how freakish Mahomes is Allen is slightly freakier, but Mahomes is such an insane talent. He's 120% of peak Manning with about 90% of Brady leadership.

My point is, everyone who says, "Lamar Jackson is better than Patrick Mahomes!" Or "Joe Burrow is better than Patrick Mahomes!" should ask themselves this question before making such statements.

I don't know how to search for things like that on here, but there was plenty of it back before the NFL playoffs last season.

Mahomes is the best in the league right now, but I'd like to see Allen under Andy Reid's tutelage for a few years. Could be something the league has never seen.

I like Joe and think he's elite when healthy, but the when healthy part is less and less. As much shite as we give Tua, Joe is right up there in games missed.

Potential to be better than Mahomes for a season is there, but yes he currently is not better than Mahomes, and he has virtually zero shot at being better than Mahomes over his career.

It’s real simple here.. nobody can do what Pat does on the field on the consistent basis as he does. He is must see TV. There is not another qb in the league
You can say that about.

Easily Josh Allen.

Put Mahomes with any other team and coach and he just looks good not great.
