And the crowd cheered like we just beat Alabama?

What a time that was.

And every LSU fan simultaneously lost their shite thinking, "this is the future boys, we're here!"

Lol good times. F Matt Canada

I was there. I was dazzled at first, then around halftime started realizing we weren't fooling anyone. We were just way more athletic than BYU. (Still fun to be in the dome for a whoopin).

It’s so odd for LSU fans to make more of something than it is

I still believe this site is the greatest collection of human talent that has ever existed in human history, but to each their own I guess.

Dan Etling and his HUGE balls saved LSU quarterback play from literal hell on earth.

Burrow and Daniels ran because Etling crawled and walked before them, and I’ll gladly die on this hill haha.

That was a fun offense and a fun team. That comeback against Auburn is one of my top 5 Tiger Stadium memories, all time

I conveniently wasn't able to make the Troy State game, which no doubt improves my memories of that year

Russell Gage looking like Deebo Samuel on that run against Auburn.

It was a simpler time, but an unnecessarily complicated offense.

I remember listening to a Kraigthorpe (so??) interview in the off-season he was hired. It was basic offensive strategy but it seemed like an explosive offense we had never seen. Miles sucked for never adapting the offense to the times. Could recruit his arse off on the perimeter but never knew how to use them.

I remember watching that Pitt-Clemson game like 10 times after we hired Canada and thinking we finally figured it out

It all went slowly downhill for him from there, but he was locked in for that one game
