Today should be a good day keeping up with the former LSU players. Love Skenes and Nola day.

Will the pirates game be on TBS? I’m not seeing it on the ESPN schedule. MLB is missing a prime opportunity of attracting new fans by not televising every Pirates game Skenes pitches in.

You can also take the pirates at +135 against freid and braves if you dare.

Wow those stats are wild. If skenes were to keep this up and have the same amount of innings…. just wild.

Basically how many starts did Skenes miss out on before they brought him up? 6?

The MLB marketing is piss poor. There is zero going on in the world of sports right now, and there is a baseball game on all throughout the day.
Instead of baseball on ESPN we get debate shows where race is the main topic and corn hole over baseball.

I'm headed to Truist Park to see my favorite team, Braves, play against my favorite MLB player, Skenes. The best of both worlds. Can't wait!

My Brother-in-Laws company was in on the building of the Stadium and the Battery.

Skenes will probably throw lights out, but his team can’t score. Tie game after 7 & then Braves tee off on the bullpen and win by 2-3.

Want to know what happened in the backwater swamps in La?
If you’re from a pre cable La, you follow the Yankees or Dodgers (mostly Yankees) because they were the biggest names forever and were on TV. People that liked the Yankees because of Ron Guidry.
Once cable was brought to the bayou, Cubs fans and Braves fans started to swell up. Kids that played ball watched the Cubs during the day before going to the park. In the early 80’s they were really good with Sandberg, Dawson, Maddux, Lee Smith, Cey, Sutcliff and others. The Braves games were on at night and people who worked liked to watch them with Horner, Murphy and others. The Braves got to be really good, but were really poorly coached as seen by the great staff and only 1 title in the 90’s. WGN and TBS continues to pump in broadcasts to cities / states without teams like La.
The Houston fan base grew because of the Bad News Bears movie and Astroworld vacations.
Downvote all you want but it is the truth. Most on here are too young to understand that because they were born decades after cable where their parents were influenced. I lived it there and watch it happen.

frick the Braves. He better stop throwing heat first pitch. Happened his last outing.
They will have his pitch count up by inning 4.
