You wanted the Pels to flip Ingram for Murray.

We now have Ingram and Murray.

Eat your crow Karens.

FLOCK UP true Pels fans. Murray/Ingram/Zion/CJ and three and d players.

What a talent loaded team.

Half the board thought Barrrego was only interviewing for a head coaching job because he wanted to get out of here. Can’t fix stupid

Unless BI is coming off the bench, he doesn’t work with Zion. We’ve seen that….often.

You aint lying.

The board on draft night was pure swill/Karen action.

Whining about getting a rim running defensive center and expecting a trade (which happens a few days later for Murray).

Brown/Tatum did just fine together as 2 large wing star players.

The model works.

Doesn’t matter if it’s wings. Their games are completely different than Brown and Tatum.

needs more shooting to unlock this team's potential. Look at the 4 guard/wings for Boston:

Derrick White - Off ball "point guard" who made the correct plays and can knock down open 3's. Hounded the opponents smallest guard

Jrue Holiday - Off ball "combo guard" who made the correct plays and can knock down open 3's. Switchable defender

Jaylen Brown - On ball "combo guard" who made the hustle plays, shared do it all offensive load as the #2, and is a switchable defender

Jayson Tatum - On ball wing who was the clutch do-it-all offensive guy, 3 level scorer, while not elite defensively held his own

While we on the other hand:
Dejounte Murray - can be both on or off ball "point guard" who can make the correct plays and is a switchable defender. has the same kind of 3pt shooting as brown.

CJ McCollum - off ball "shooting guard" who was a league leader in 3pt shooting. defensive liability and only able to guard the smallest guy, albeit not very well.

Brandon Ingram - on ball wing who is a 3 level scorer, barely average defensively.

Zion Williamson- on ball wing who cannot shoot, but is a menace down hill at the rim. He vertically threatens you, but you can't leave him wide open either because he will blow by you.

We got the following from a desperately needed position and only gave up some backups and some useless picks.

PTS. 22.5

REB. 5.3

AST. 6.4

If BI would actually shoot fricking 3s, he would be perfect on this team

Have no idea if this will work with Murray
But at end of day something needed to be shaken up and it was
We’ve been burned before with Eric Gordon so hopefully he wants to be here

Both those guys shoot 3s. Im not even sure you would classify Zion as a wing.

That's my problem with keeping BI - he simply doesn't fit with Zion. If he'll take a demotion to the 2nd team without being a head case, keep him, but at a salary equal to that role. If not, he needs to go.

It works if both your wings can shoot jumpers…

The pelicans best player and who they are building around can’t shoot jumpers.

BI just needs to go back to taking 6/7 threes a game.

Murray is the extra shooting and def we need in perimeter. He shot 7 threes a game last season.

Simply put, we are adding shooters/defenders to put around Zion/BI.
