Will LSU Baseball have a star player next season?

Trying to think of the last time LSU didn’t have at least one top caliber college player.
Will we have one in 2025? Maybe Shores?

No way LSU baseball will have a star player imo.

Nope
They are cancelling the baseball program ever since you’ve uncovered Jay Johnson for what he really is. Good job

What are you considering a star? Like a top 10 pick?

No I said a top caliber college player. Has nothing to do with being a pro prospect or their value after LSU, although that usually translates in baseball.
Without Jones and Herring, I don’t see any obvious All SEC players tbh. Milam has a shot with a step forward and we all think Shores has the talent albeit unproven at this level.
We are used to having a dude or two and I just don’t see it on this current roster, which is one that Jay’s 100% recruited.

I’m asking you how you define a top caliber player. That could mean several different things depending on who you are asking. You can’t just ask if we are going to have a “a dude” without defining what that is.
Like give examples from the 2023 and 2024 teams.

That’s just some names in the last decade or so. We always have had high caliber performers, usually multiple
