It's crazy that USC hasn't even made the CWS in over 20 years. Hopefully LSU can pass them up in the next 25 years or so

USC was a beast back in the day but the program is in the shitter with no signs of ever coming back

Couple of things they stand out:
1) Man that sucks for Florida state 0/24. Jesus you think the law of averages would come into play at least once.
2) USC going 12/21 is outrageous. I know their run was in the 70's and they haven't been decent since the 90's but holy shite 57% win rate is crazy.

Until Skip got here in the early 80's baseball was a minor sport here no different than say tennis. There was no radio for baseball games, no coaches show etc., and coverage by the media was about the same as a sport like tennis - basically no one went or paid attention.
So, several schools on the list got a good head start in that sense, in that they had some baseball tradition and success before the 80's.
Now - of course you could say the same about most schools in regard to baseball at that time and hell, still even today for most.
Now let's do from 1986 on......

I'm an LSU fan but this is such an insecure flex.
Someone else won it this year, hopefully we'll be back soon.

I don’t know man. This is still an LSU board….and since people’s attention are on the college World Series, it makes sense to make a historical post about the college World Series.

A conversation about the CWS history on a LSU page is insecure? It appears that this is just a conversation about the history of the CWS. Has anyone talked bad about the Tennessee championship? That would be insecure
