They don’t have last names like ours. Their “last name” is their father’s first name followed by dottir, meaning daughter. Same thing for boys, except it ends in son. Like Lief Erickson.
You’d think it would make keeping track of everything hard, but it’s such a small country that everyone basically knows everyone.
