Wiltshire Police said the pair were arrested on suspicion of damaging one of the world’s most famous prehistoric monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Stonehenge was built on the flat lands of Salisbury Plain in stages starting 5,000 years ago, with the unique stone circle erected in the late Neolithic period about 2,500 B.C.

Will they have to pressure wash the stone to remove it? How will that look?
It’s one thing to pressure wash a brick wall but I assume it’s a whole other ordeal to pressure wash those giant stones without making marks where the pressure washer removed dirt and debris.

At this point I believe the conspiracy theory that these climate protestors were actually funded by the oil industry. It pisses people off enough to sway people to be on the side of the oil industry.

Yeah it was cornflour dust or something like that. They tried to pull this weird “gotcha” by basically saying the rain will wash it off unlike the irreparable damage being done to the earth.
