Never even got lsu catcher gear. Why did he play with a navy blue helmet anyways? Get it wrapped or hydrodripped.
Better hope the new catchers are as advertised.

The kid tried his best at LSU and showed some promise. I hope he lands on his feet and has a good year next year.
With that said, I always found him to be very annoying. I never said anything because he was our guy but the way he would constantly talk to umps between every pitch when he was batting and tried to show them up on ball 4 calls was aggravating af.

Well that sucks. What more could he ask from Jay? Jay tried to play him at every opportunity he could and he's still not satisfied.

I’d guess he wanted to at least keep the sweet NIL deal he got when he arrived and last year and Johnson offered him the chance to compete for the starting job and pick up some NiL deals if he accomplishes that.

If he stays healthy, he'll be a solid player for someone. I don't think Jay wants him to transfer, but that's pure speculation. Seems to talk very highly of him.
