Why would he do that? The only thing keeping him in majors is his world ranking, and that goes to the toilet at LIV. He doesn't have a recent major win to fall back on like Brooks, Bryson, Rahm, or DJ.

Tiger is slated to get $100m. $100m for a guy that will play in maybe 2-5 PGA Tour events a year, maybe 1-3 cuts. The PGA Tour is definitely doing all they can to grow the game and entice young players to come up buy giving the old guy in the room an enormous % of the equity stake. I get he deserves his due for getting the game to its current point but this is rather short sighted.
