How would you rate your Father’s Day?

I had a 6.9/10
Got up early and cooked the fam some eggs, sausage, and pancakes. They got up around 730. After they devoured the feast, we went to mass to celebrate the lord and dads. God is good.
I then went home and started doing a deep clean of the house. It’s been giving me a lot of anxiety, since I’ve been working 6-7 days a week. I cleaned the appliances and scrubbed the floors. I was elated.
While cleaning, I had a few John Daly’s. They hit the spot.
Around 230 I pounded some tube meat and finished off some old beers that I had cleaned out from the fridge. They were a few years old, but at least they were still cold.
The shade by the pool was nice.
The only thing that would make it better if I had enough money to pay for a maid.

It’s been good. Started at 3:30 am picking my kid up from a trip. Would not have had it any other way.

My sons are college age, both had to work at their summer jobs, I consider that success.

Finished a tour, which included standing at midfield, of UF with our son. About 30 minutes from home after a 7 or so hour drive. Meh.

shite - power to 1/2 my house including the AC went out. thankfully the kitchen and living room and master bedroom all have power. have ceilign fans and a couple stand fans from the garage, but no AC is balls.

I got a 10/10. Didn’t do shite today. The fam visited the folks and filled up on pork chops n’ gravy and baked mac and cheese. Hung out with the old man on the back porch while a cooling rain shower passed though, talking bullshite.
