I am 100% fine with this.

He is incredibly overrated and I think we need a new voice in that department.

Vinson was from Monty's regime so I am not surprised he left when Monty came calling. Now watch Ivey and Cunningham start showing improvements in their shots.

We have the “shooting guru” but consistently suck at shooting.

Guy is overrated as hell.

Maybe well now no longer draft players who can’t shoot for shiet thinking Vinson will miraculously fix their shot everytime

If Vinson is going there as the shooting coach then maybe it says something, but he's been trying to expand beyond the shooting niche and I suspect he will have a more significant position in Detroit.

Borrego was never more than a hired gun waiting for the next job opening.

Like Vinson, Langdon has been waiting for a promotion and he got it. I also imagine the front office people he took with him will get raises and or promotions as well.

What you see as a sinking ship could also be seen as a healthy organization developing talent other people want. Griff has a lot of flaws, but one thing he has been good at is spending Mrs. Benson's money to staff up and let quality people do their job.

I really think our loyalty to Willie Green is going to send us down a dark path. Not saying because of Vinson leaving directly, just a symptom. Trajon, Vinson, Borrego, these are smart guys. Jonas, Naji, these were some of our best PO producers and hardest workers. And my opinion, but his not being able to get through to Bi, one of our best players. I feel like he’s starting to get tuned out and could be sitting with a less talented roster and less ideas being handed to him. Hoping for the best.

We shot 38.3% from 3 as a team. The problem is not making the shots, it’s getting guys (Ingram) to actually take them

I've posted ad nauseum about a very minor flaw in Dyson's form that impinges his jumper. We're not talking about a complete overhaul of his form, just a simple adjustment of his feet, but it's never been addressed. To me, that's an indictment on Vinson.

Yea I guess those improvements by Herb, Naji, and Jose just came out of thin air.

Are those the only guys in NBA history to improve their shots? Nobody is saying Vinson is a bad shooting coach, but he does not have a monopoly on the science of it.

A new voice getting Dyson to hit threes would alone be a complete game changer for this team.

How do you know Vinson is specifically responsible for them, and someone else couldn’t get those results?

Because he has been working with all of them since they've been here from day 1 and they've all shown improvements under him.

The results were there. Simple as that.
