Lets do this. I will update the first page with all the participants in the morning. No time tonight
History Channel - 9:00 est on Thursdays.
Season 11 of the acclaimed survival series ALONE is here, plunging ten new participants into the unforgiving Arctic Circle–the northernmost location in series history. Battling within grizzly bear territory, bone-chilling cold, and icy landscapes, these individuals must self-document this fierce test of will as they strive to survive in complete isolation. Armed with only 10 chosen items, they face hunger, solitude and the relentless impact of the elements. The winner, enduring the Arctic’s extreme challenges, will claim the coveted half-million dollar prize. The stakes are higher than ever in this adventure of a lifetime. No camera crews. No gimmicks. ALONE is the ultimate test of human will.

LOL. Even bad Alone's still more interesting than about 90% of the shite they put on TV these days.

2 days in and dude from West Virginia is crying about his family. And Mr experienced fisherman clears his net over the water and loses a 24” pike. People are dumb.

The one that got me to laugh my arse off was in Season 2 when the black guy, Desmond White was a contestant. Prior to being dropped off he was talking like he was ready to take on any and all challenges and even was quoted as saying if he was to run into a bear, he'd feel sorry for the bear because he was such a great survivalist and had the training to deal with such things.
Reality must have turned all that confidence to mush when he tapped out just hours after seeing bear tracks and scat in the area he was dropped off. To this day he holds the record for the shortest stay.

You can stream it on the history channel app one day later. I’ll be watching later today/evening.

I swear if I see one more moron that's celebrating a big fish caught at the river bank and loses it back into the water I'm going to break something.

With all the seasons on Hulu I thought it would be one of those shows that show up on Hulu the next day. I was wrong about that.

Man. Poor bastard with the arrow. Was kinda rooting for him. I’m always going to be team fat guy. Plus he seemed like a good dude.

Yeah and besides the initial yelp of pain, handled it very well.

Just starting the 1st episode. Pulling for the ginger redneck dude, but afraid he's too skinny.

Yea he was the only contestant in episode one I liked and I'm normally anti team fat guy. Just drives me nuts that fat contestants can go out there and do 1/3 of what the other contestants do and make it longer simply because they can starve themselves longer. But he was very likeable and actually was getting to work. One of the few pretty legit injuries the show has had, that could have been very bad.
Definitely rooting against the game warden (Isaiah?). Day two and he's already talking about he doesn't know if this was a good idea because he misses his family. GTFO. You just took a spot on the show from someone that actually wanted to be out there, not just a pussy who makes impressive send in videos. Can;t stand contestants that want to tap out after a few days from missing family. I mean have to never taken a trip or had to work away from your family for a few days? Were you crying to go home then? Ugh I could rant a while on this dude already.
Some of the women have been my favorite contestants over the years but the native american girl this season isn't going to be on I can already tell. The only thing she has talked about is her heritage. I get it, you want to make known your tribe/heritage, but you don't have to talk about it non stop. I told Mrs. Iwy early in the episode that that is going to be the only thing she talked about and she was like just give her a chance, she isn't that bad. By the end of the episode the wifey was saying o god yea she's not going to shut up about it.
Cubby was honestly the only contestant from that episode that I liked. I normally don't dislike this many contestants

Sounds like the female version of the guy who constantly talked about his mentally challenged son. It seemed like almost every second of his screen time was devoted to him rambling on and on about his son's challenges, how much he missed him, etc.
shite got old real quick for me. Yeah, I get it, your son has issues and I can acknowledge that, but I don't want it drummed into my ears at every chance you get.

The winner of the show deserves way more than $500K. That's just insulting. In today's times and inflation, that's like $50K. Bump it to a million at least.

My wife is into this show. I find it hard to believe it’s all “real”
Like let’s send these people to live with mountain lions and grizzlies and they will be ok
Also, there should be an all woman version of this show (where they are hot). I don’t think it’s fair women have to compete against real men on here. They always breakdown.

Humans have inhabited these areas, and even thrived, since long before history. It shouldn't be that big of a surprise that people specifically trained and relatively prepared to do so, can do it with some reasonable success (and failure).

Several women have done remarkably well, including atleast two that I can think of that finished the runner-up.
