Is he draft eligible ??
Despite the injury, do scouting reports show him as a high pick in the draft ??
You think he will leave via draft or become a key starter next year for LSU ??

He is a key starter starter next season. He's currently projected to be around a top 10-20 pick after next season.

We need a thread of exactly how the draft works.
MOST sophemores aren’t draft eligible. Once you enter college you cannot be drafted till your junior year or turning 21 by august 1.
Most don’t turn 21 until their junior year.
Shores is not draft eligible.

Negative hes gonna be the Friday or Sat guy next year assuming he stays on track.
I saw some hopefuls saying if we made the CWS he might have been able to go out and throw 30 pitches or so but idk if i believe it
Either way its a good sign meaning hes almost healed and will be able to have a full offseason to get restrengthened

Johnson is expecting Shores to be an integral part of the team next year judging from comments he made in yesterday’s press conference. He is looking good in his rehab.
