KATV

Back the Blue !

UPDATE: They investigated themselves and determined that they did nothing wrong

katv update

So if a K9 unit shows up at my house and the dog barks at me I guess I can just shoot it because "I feared for my life"

Look at this fat tub of shite too.

And this is the dog he shot. Clearly just a mixed mutt that he 100% took for a pitbull I bet.

I get that people make mistakes and i understand that he may have even been given the wrong address to go investigate his case

But this is one of those moments that an officer shouldn’t get to come back from. I get that the dog may have honestly been going to bite you but the officer still made the mistake and the dog was protecting its house.

I would even understand getting out the car on the street and a dog is coming at you on the street but that was not this situation.

It wasn’t even an emergency situation. This is not an acting in good faith or just doing my job moment. This is a legit, you lose your job moment. It sucks but the officer went to the wrong house and shot a family pet.

There isn’t much explaining on this one.

So the cop shoots the dog for doing exactly what the dog should be doing.

Barking at people entering the owners property.

What a moron.

They didn't give him the wrong address/
Did you watch the video ?
The Investigator reads the address off of the sheet and the homeowner yells "that's over there".

I get that. I know he read it.

What i was saying is that there really is no excuse in this situation. I get mistakes happen but this one absolutely should result in a termination.

I think the word "Investigate" is key. Did he even know where he was going or did he have a photo of Samuel?
Investigate may encompass a number of activities, but the most important was "engage your brain" followed by reasoning skepticism and he did neither

I delivered pizzas for 6 years and shot zero dogs.

Clearly this statement is false. Not only did he shoot a dog at the wrong address, he discharged his firearm when his life was not in danger.

If that was legal use of force, as a pizza driver, I should've shot a few thousand dogs.

Pathetic.
