Do you wash your blue jeans?

I’ve heard people say that you should almost never wash your blue jeans. I’ve tried telling my wife this, but she disagrees. What say the OT?

Depends on the jeans. I have some raw denim jeans that I never wash and I have some other jeans that aren't 100% denim (a little stretchy) that I do wash, but only after quite a few wears.
ETA:
And by never I mean once a year or so I soak them in room temp water with woolite and vinegar, then wash that off in clear water.

Nicer jeans - I wash them every couple wears unless i'm out sweating or something. If i just wear them to dinner i'll wear quite a few times before i wash. And I never dry them all the way.

Less often then other clothes but yeah, probably once or twice a week depending on what I wore them for.

I got call back to work once and went back in my dirty blue jeans. This gay guy said, "Here's jeffsdad in his dirty jeans." I said "thats cause I don't view mine as a fashion statement." But yep, I wash them depending if the dirt shows.

I work in an office and wear jeans only of Fridays. Wash them after about 5 wears under normal conditions.
