The Most Surprising Contradictions in the Left’s Support for Palestinians

The State of Israel is a homeland for Jewish peoples, but has a non-Jewish minority whose rights are respected.
It protects free expression and disagreement with the government.
It supports free elections.
It supports LGBTQ rights.
It supports all of the values of the European Union, including human dignity, freedom, democracy, rule of law, and human rights.
Every sect of Palestinian leadership, from Hamas, to the PLA, to Palestine’s supporters, support none of this.
This is the surprising contradiction to me when I see so-called liberals supporting Palestine, and more importantly why I am surprised Biden has distanced himself from Israel.
Whether financially or politically, this is why we must support Israel throughout the entirety of their response to the Oct. 7 attacks, no matter how long it takes.
Realistically it will take several years, and I am personally doubtful that Israel will ever leave Gaza.

You don't think Israel has gone overboard at all? Is there any red line you think they shouldn't cross?

No.
You obviously do. Tell us how they have gone overboard.

You can't apply logic or reason to the left. All that matters to them is either what advances the message or what they decide offends them today.

Nope. Not in the least bit. Israel suffered on of the worst attacks in recent history by an enemy that has and will continue to attack them in the future; they have not only a right but a duty to eradicate that enemy and threat. That the enemy hides behind hospitals and schools in an evil strategy of creating human shields does not shift the blame on Israel when those innocents die; that blame lies SOLELY on the evil demons that are using them as shields.
You go ahead and keep on supporting those demons

Frick Hamas and those who support them. You can't hide behind them one day then play the innocent card the next.

It seems you and I agree on quite a bit here reading your posts.
But I, personally don’t think they have crossed a (imaginary) line.
War isn’t meant to be fought like the UN and some other people think it should be fought. It’s called war for a reason.
Israel watched her country be raped, burned, and murdered in 2023. By cavemen with an iq of about 70. These functioning retarded animals hide in schools, hospitals, and churches. The people voted this in and support Hamas actions on October 7th probably in the 95 percentile.
War is one of the most disgusting things in world history, but it can’t be fought in international courts and on social media if you ever want security.
If Iran hits again, Israel won’t pick up the phone this time when NATO/USA calls. I said that last time, but this time will be different.
And when they go into Lebanon to take hezbolah out, the shrieks will increase by 100 because that war will be awful.
There hasn’t been war in a long time, but people better get ready. It’s coming everywhere.

The Israelis are incredibly racist and are awful to anyone who isn’t Jewish.
They’re not a western people, they’re a middle eastern one, and their ethics are driven by their own sense of racial supremacy, and zero sum attitudes towards resources.

If Israel laid down her weapons, there would be no more Israel. If the goat fricking savages known as Muslims laid down their weapons, there would be peace.
Eta: well, except maybe not this time. And it would be totally deserved. I wouldn’t mind one damn bit if Israel wiped the whole thing out.

If you lived in the shittiest neighborhood on the planet, you would have the same view towards your neighbors as they have. I don’t know you from Adam, but this is absolutely true.

I say we arm Israel and Hamas and let them have at it.
I'm on the frick BOTH SIDES bandwagon.

Assuming this is true, it that reason to support hamas?

They need to eradicate them. Don't need to stop. Full speed ahead.

Eradication of Hamas is the term used for the response to Oct. 7 IIRC.
I feel for the Palestinians that support Hamas, but they cheered on the slaughter as it was happening. They found out.
A lot of people don’t understand the meaning of eradication obviously.

If you're acknowledging that the Israelis are a middle eastern people, that negates the screeching accusations of "Colonizers!" that the left keeps lobbing at Israel.
