Pitching was unbelievable down the stretch. It's on seniors (White,Trav)

Tommy has been abysmal. So is Travinksi. Month ago, we were even going to get into tourney. We are so close to making to Omaha. Proud of the freshman and pitching

White has bad luck which was exacerbated by letting the fans get in his head.
If he can’t handle a handful of bozos in Chapel Hill, NC heckling him, he better steer clear of New York, Boston, Philly, St. Louis, etc

Not every great player is going to make every play and hit every ball that is pitched to them. that’s why the best of all time are around 3 hits for every 10 at bats, they gave it their all. You should be proud of this squad.

White hit the ball hard but to only have singles for his hits this regional is the biggest disappointment all weekend. That last at bad was just disgusting. Swing at a pitch a foot high and a foot wide. Looked like he was ready to head home

Travinski strike out swinging at 3 straight ballsat his eyes up 2-0 and giving up a walk prior to Brown HR in the third was by far the worst moment of the game by any LSU player, especially from a 5th year senior

Did you even watch the regional? That was like Tommy’s only bad swing the entire tournament just came at a bad time lol.
Not his fault their defense is nails. White was smacking balls all over the place, they just kept winding up in gloves. These were line drives, not like he was just flying out or fanning on big swings.

It’s not on anyone. It’s kids playing a frickin sport. I am just as disappointed as the rest. Blame us not doing well enough to host but those kids gave it everything.

UNC was FAR better defensively and i think White has a bunch of hits against other teams.

Honestly, this team was never close to making it to Omaha. Horrible start in the SEC, and until they caught fire in Hoover, LSU was not even considered a tournament team. This year was a head scratcher based on the young incoming talent, returning upper classmen, and optimism from last years NC. Regardless, I’m proud of this team although they underachieved based on expectations. Win lose or draw, I’ll always support the Tigers.
