Have we ever beaten UNC in baseball?

The last 4 matches are all I’ve seen. Lost to them twice in the 2008 CWS, lost to them once in the 2013 CWS, and lost to them tonight in the 2024 Chapel Hill Regional.

Odd that we kind of only get them when we have these overachieving type teams (2013 maybe an exception with the ucla fluke). They just haven’t been there in Omaha when it’s mattered when lsu has taken seven trophies. Imagine being a Tar heel fan and seeing good teams but nothing to show for it.

Maybe - basketball clearly the number three sport for lsu. Unc baseball is perennial underachiever and that has to sting as a fan. (And Shaq clowning Kenny smith on tnt).

Its always annoying to lose to the lesser programs when they're having an uncharacteristic great year, but we'll be fine.

You sound like a bitch. The only sport UNC has ever been known for is basketball. A one sport school. When you capture 7 NCs in baseball and 4 in football along with our other championships in other sports then you can talk.
