The 2 major sports at LSU are football and baseball. LSU has 3 recent football National Championships with 3 different coaches. Old Mack Brown could barely go .500 at UNC, lol.

Not really, our season could have ended a dozen times over the last 3 weeks, and we're still playing. Getting out of Chapel Hill was always 50/50 at best. It would be like if LSU basketball were having a better season than they usually have, like best in a decade, and UNC basketball is having probably the worst season in a decade. They meet up in the second round of March Madness and you know UNC could win, but they might not be the better team. Kinda like that. I won't be worried if UNC pops up in our regional next year, because it'll most likely be back in Baton Rouge, and LSU will be better.

The 1 major sport at UNC is basketball. We have 6 NCs. We are the only school to have an active streak of reaching the National Championship game for nine straight decades (no other school has done it in more than six straight) and at least two Final Fours for six straight decades, all while averaging more wins per season played (20.7) than any other program in college basketball.
LSU has failed to win merely one NC. Hell, LSU has failed to make a NC — while having Shaq, Pistol Pete, Bob Pettit, Chris Jackson, Rudy Macklin…
