With Arizona and DBU loss yesterday, is that enough for LSU to host is we win our region if W. Va or GCU wins that region

It would come down to who bids on the super. LSU would have a great shot.

we would absolutely host over WVU or GCU.
if it's between us and DBU, it would come down to highest bid (which would most likely be us)

DBU’s stadium holds about 2k - 3k people. The NCAA just agreed to pay a pretty big bill. They need the dues, and aren’t going to turn away 2-3 days of 11,000 ticket sales.

Hell, they might try to find a way for LSU to host even if LSU isn’t playing. Even a 1/2 empty Alex Box would generate more revenue than most teams

There is no way DBU would out bid us. Their single season attendance record is what we have for an SEC weekend.

RECORD CROWD
A Horner Ballpark record crowd of 3,242 packed the stands on May 31, 2015, to watch DBU record an 8-1 win over the University of Texas in the Dallas Regional.

SIGNIFICANT NUMBERS
31,556 - Horner Ballpark set a new single-season attendance record in 2015 with 31,556

I usually don't post topics and asked a simple question. I don't know much about how NCAA usually picks so can someone explain to me why the down votes

I wonder which teams from the Arizona regional even submitted bids for a super.

LSU definitely did.

The downvotes (I didn’t give you one, so I’m just guessing) are likely because:

1. The question is premature since we just squeaked by Wofford and need 2-3 more wins to advance

2. Some people believe in jinxes and get nervous when others look ahead

3. People here love to give DVs

Don’t take any of it personally. I clicked on the thread because I was interested in the answer.

LSU is a 2 seed in their region, from there it would go something like this:

if the 1 seed in the opposite region wins, LSU travels there.
if the 2 seed wins, it comes down to high bid (which LSU should just about never lose) between the two 2 seeds.
if a lower seed wins, then LSU hosts.

so can someone explain to me why the down votes

because everyone here have genius level IQs on every topic on the planet, so they downvote those who don't.

It has also been answered a few times already. I didn't downvote, more discussion on things that people down know doesn't usually bother me.

Thanks. Your common sense answer restored my faith in the rant. It's fun to participate but can be brutal at times

Wonder if DBU even submitted a super regional bid

I can’t imagine it hurts you at all to submit one

Our focus is beating NCarolina and not thinking about what is happening in Tucson.

You don't come here much do you? These people are freaks and nothing has merit or meaning. It's a message board, nothing more. I come here when I need something to make me laugh, especially after a close loss to hear how horrible our coaches and players are.
