those were all during my college days. The 5-yr plan

I recall all of those HoF dates from back when i was a lurker before I joined.

That SID kid thread had thousands of upvotes. Just another memorable thread I remember from this board. Have no idea of the date other than I remember the story being covered one Saturday on college gameday prob early 2010s. I’m sure other highest volume dates in rant history were 2019 semifinal win over OU and the NC win and then the baseball NC last year.

Joe McKnight choosing USC in February 2007 was one of the biggest and most epic meltdowns in Tigerdroppings history.

It was probably more of a Recruiting Board thing though. We thought we had missed out on the next Reggie Bush.

5 big time recruits were suppose to commit on national signing day. I believe it was Leonard Fournette, Jamal Adams, - 3 other dudes that never did anything in college. Speedy noil was one i think?

Football recruiting. LSU was rumored to be receiving 5 commitments from 5-star recruits at the Under armour all star game. The 5 players were:
Leonard Fournette
Jamal Adams
Gerald Willis
Speedy Noil
Tony Brown
We ended up with 2 of the 5 and the melt was colossal. There were also rumors that Fournette was committing to Texas, obviously that didn’t happen, but there were several “Fire Les Miles” threads.

To be fair we got by far the best 2 of those 5. The other 3 were basically busts.

ETA: forgot this. The three others were either arrested during their time at school outright dismissed from the team.

Did we even have the Recruiting Board back then?

The loss to Troy in 2017, this place had a meltdown of epic proportions.

The 2019 Natty win against Clemson. The one dude who gave Burrow his infamous “Big Dick Joe” hat, that thread was legendary.
