"This parish is the home of the Bawcomville Redneck Christmas Parade."
"What is Ouachita, Alex."
"What is Ouachita, Alex."

I'd frick it all up by answering with "county" instead of "parish".

That one did not make the cut, Lafayette, Orleans, Iberia, Beauregard and Acadia were the answers

Lafourche is good memorable one.
This parish is the Native American name of a fork in the Mississippi River and the home of Louisiana’s only Supreme Court Chief Justice.
East Baton Rouge is another good one. This parish is named for a French Red Stick and home to the state flagship university, LSU, and the new City of St. George.
Jefferson Parish, this parish just west of New Orleans is named after the third US President responsible for the Louisiana Purchase and is home to exotic places like Grand Isle where pirates like Jean Lafite roamed the waters along the gulf coast.

Upper and lower St. Martin Parish can be confusing to those not from around here.

Some of the Jeopardy writers are from New Orleans, thus the occasional shoutout nugget.
