Has there been no thread on this? Seems like the OT would be all over this. Sorry if I missed the thread. Short summary- a Boston cop dies in the snow outside a house and his girlfriend is on trial for his death by backing an SUV into him. The cast of characters is pretty entertaining with the defense building a case of Karen being framed. So many fishy facts. Phones being "thrown away", texted being deleted, parts of the house being remodeled before trial, Google searches for "how long to die from cold" cuts on the victim that look like a dog bite, a dog that may be aggressive and injuries to a hothead son's right knuckles.
Anyway, here's a longish video summary

If you use Tiktok, there's some really good vids there-probably better than Youtube.

I’ve been following this case since it happened. Her home video footage shows her rear light wasn’t busted when she got home that night. So how did a piece of a taillight end up at the scene later that morning? He had beef with some of the cops in that house. I think she’s innocent and they are framing her.

She got framed imo but I did miss last week's testimony.

Has the state shown how John died yet?

I've only followed at a high level, but there is a legitimate cause for doubt of her guilt for sure.

Pair that with Higgins going through the Sallyport at a really odd hour and you get...hmmmm.

I had not heard of the case before seeing the OP. I listened to a podcast about it today and it is pretty crazy.
The people in the house where the deceased was dropped off are an ATF agent, Boston PD, local PD. They say he was struck by a car and left to die in a snowstorm. Defense says he was beaten to death. He had holes on his arms that prosecution say were tire marks, and defense says dog bites.
It’s all very shady. Something happened in that house and they are framing the GF.
Saddest part is he was raising his niece and nephew who lost both parents and now their uncle is dead.

I have watched most of the trial. There is a lot of doubt in her case. All I know is that these grown people drink a lot. Her BAC was 93 at 9 the next morning. She may have been drunk driving and hit him and doesn't remember. But intentionally killing him is a stretch.

They said she drank more than 7 cocktails at the bar and her policeman boyfriend had her drive them to a house party.

The is a frame job by a bunch of Camden Mass State Police and ATF redneck hooligans who are all related to each other - one of whom beat the dead guy and left him out to die.

They framed her up so as to divert attention away from their own.

She will be acquitted 100%…

Possibly not guilty. Would need to consider more evidence.

Who gets rid of a phone by destroying the sim, placing in a plastic bag, then driving to a military base to toss in a dumpster?

Conveniently 2 days before a preservation was ordered.

There have been threads about it. It’s been a huge story here - I definitely think she’s innocent.

The fact that this is going to trial with all the bullshite surrounding it, such as phones destroyed, videos altered, people who were in the house having private access to her vehicle, etc... is absurd. This chick is getting framed for sure.

I have been following it since the beginning, to the point where I watch Attorney Melanie Little’s live stream & commentary. I also watch the daily recaps that retired DEA Supervisor Sean McDonough and the Young Jurks host, usually with Attorney Mark Bederow.
It is absolutely one of the most corrupted cases I have followed in my lifetime. If I had a dollar for every lie that’s been told under oath (including the federal grand jury. Trooper Proctor, Brian Higgins and others continue to be under federal investigation. Even the damn judge, objecting on behalf of the prosecutor during the trial is ridiculous. A group of middle schoolers could have handled the crime scene better.
So much corruption in Canton. Using Stop & Shop bags, solo cups and leaf blowers on an active crime scene! I’ve heard the jurors have been taking notes and seem engaged when the defense attorneys are doing the cross. Karen has an all star team of attorneys, hopefully the truth will win out in the end. In my opinion, every day of the trial that goes by favors Karen more and more. No way this case should have ever gone to trial, but when there are those levels of corruption, it’s not surprising.
Town of Canton’s community meetings are online and they are as bad as the court case.
