If we win the tourney, we would have an RPI between 15 and 20. Maybe.

If we dominate our way through the tourney, it is possible, if not edging towards likely. The chances of not only winning the tourney but doing so in dominant fashion throughout is not very likely, though. I'd settle for getting a 2 seed in an easy bracket

Those saying it's impossible don't know what they are talking about. The selection committee has said before that they count SECT wins as SEC wins. LSU would have to win 5 games to win it, which would put us at 18. That's enough to host.

That being said, it's probably very very unlikely that we win the tournament. I also believe the committee has host sites selected before the tournament is done usually. So it's certainly not a given, were we to win the tournament.

We are probably a fringe 2-3 seed right now. Win 1-2 more games and we probably go in as the 7th highest ranked SEC team which would put us firmly as a 2 seed.

With how we’re playing a 2 seed is very doable. That’s all you can ask for at this point. That gives us a shot chance to host a super.

All I know is no host team is going to be happy to see LSU in their Regional.

Not a chance, BUT.. it is worth an effort just to say.. "WE WON"... An NC, Then a SEC Tourney,,, Etc. There are worse storylines.

More importantly.. This team is winning vs good teams. Teams that are better than MOST we will see, and teams that may make the cws.

Absolutely not. They might be a 2 seed though.

Had LSU not blown those games against Florida, Alabama, and Vandy they’d be 16-14 and probably host as SECt champs.

LSU Baseball deserves Alabama Football treatment. Anything else is insulting.

We win the SEC, we should host. Let them red arrows flow bitches.
