It’s unbelievable how games have evolved. I was mesmerized when I saw my 4 YO could play GTA. …Then he rolled up on a hooker giving someone head in the passenger seat…and then it was time to transition back to blippi.

I wonder if anyone here ever played the NEC Turbographix-16? I worked as a engineer for NEC out of college and they came out with this console when I worked for them. They sold us the console and a huge selection of games for very very cheap.

I have to say I am not a video game guy and really never have been.. My father, who was retired, fell in love with playing that thing and took it away from me

1 checking in.

Asteroids, Adventure, Space Invaders, Defender, Missile Command, Combat FTW. Plus it worked on the Commodore 64.

Should have the paddle as #2.

Christmas 1981

Atari 2600 block figure football, basketball, and baseball were fun.

The paddle for Breakout was nice also.

One of the underrated games was human cannonball. I used to love trying the long, low angle launches and if it missed, the man flew completely off the screen
