LUNCH THREAD- get off the internet and call your mom edition

I had mom day brunch yesterday and breakfast in bed this morning. Full weekend with the kids/grandkids in two weeks

My brother didn’t make reservations anywhere, so he’s taking her to a main event type place for lunch so he and his kid can play games

Everyday is Mother’s Day for my momma she is loved 365 days a year. I just save my money and don’t do anything on Mother’s Day. She knows

This is really my life 
I would have gotten brunch yesterday regardless and dptb makes me breakfast most weekends. I also get together with kids and grandkids as often as I can.
I told my kids a long time ago that I don't need a big deal made on holidays - just keep calling for lunch on random Tuesdays, inviting yourself to my house for the weekend, or taking weekend trips together and I am fine! The inlaws get big fuss on the holidays and I get the random time all the time!!

I lied anyway I called her earlier i am at work all day. My wife even got a mother's day card to her this year I can't say that happens every year.

I worked at a restaurant in Arizona that had a Mongolian beef dish. It was go good I would eat it off the plate as it came to me (as the dishwasher).
