This is the answer. I’ve killed several dogs in my life. Chicken killers, garden diggers, calf killers, but it’s not something I brag about.
Same here. Killed a lot of animals back when, just for the sport/feeling of it. "As a child, one does childish things...", but as the Holy Spirit of Truth brings wisdom, one changes. Hell, I feel bad about killing moccasins now, and had to send two to their next life last week.

Plus she’s defending this by saying that Joe Biden should shoot his dogs as well.
He probably should have it put down. Unless it's a working dog there's no reason to keep a dog that's aggressive to humans. The damn thing has bitten how many people?

I get that it may have needed to be done for people’s safety
No no no, it was no danger to people, she said it killed some damn chickens and then claims the law allows one to shoot dogs that attack livestock. Problem is she didn't shoot the puppy WHILE it was in the act of killing chickens, she did it afterwards. That is just cruel and vicious and the fact she can't understand that shows me she isn't fit to be in ANY office. What an evil bonehead she is but I'm glad she is stupid enough to publish the story.

I don't think she was thinking at all. She was probably justified in shooting the dog, but you don't freaking talk about it if you have political aspirations. There are people that chain themselves to buildings to protest killing chickens...
The lying part is the even dumber part. This wasn't like telling some chick in a bar that you flew stealth jets in the gulf war, this was instantly verifiable.
I grew up on a farm, and we had a nearly identical dog scenario. We rescued a dog that was a survivor from a car crash where both her owners died. She was a beautiful German Shepherd, but she was skittish. She was impossible to approach, and would growl. She'd harass cattle, and she nipped at a visitor to the house. The straw that broke the dog's back was when she nipped at my little niece. The dog was too big of a risk and was an absolute headcase. My dad took no joy in it, it broke his heart. I guarantee you it wouldn't be in his memoirs.

There is no such thing as an untrainable dog of a domestic breed.

What was Kristi Noem thinking? People don’t take kindly to someone who kills a dog.
She probably wasn't thinking at all. She mentioned it just throwing it out like it wasn't anything, assuming it's just one of those things someone would say who's trying to come off blue collar and outdoorsy or whatever.
She comes off to me just like Desantis, just like most of these career politicians who vomit out typical right wing takes. It's nothing new. She's been in government, at the teat, for the last 20 years and just babbles out these typical takes like a fricking robot.
These people who just stay and stay and stay in government must be rooted out. Because eventually they all reveal themselves. She's a mindless beauty queen who's watched too much Yellowstone and it's time to move on.

Okay, go dig her up and see what you can do. I can't believe we didn't think of that.
