Ann Coulter is trending and being called racist

Ann was on Vivek's podcast, about an hour long. He has a good opening monologue, and when she comes on, right out of the gate she says she agreed with his policies but would not have voted for him because he's Indian. She then says, 'more about that in a minute' and talks about some other issues. She is getting heat on X, being called a racist for this and people on the left are now tying her to Trump as a way to smear Trump. Predictable of course.
As she speaks she mentions the centrality of the WASP to US history and identity. She mentions the Framers made qualifications for President separate than others, and that it's important to have a generational tie to freedom and this leads to her predisposition for a WASP type of candidate. She goes on to cite polling and she says "some of our very best immigrants don't understand the 2nd Amendment, the 1st Amendment" and so forth, and how it often manifests in their survey results that they have no appreciation for the right to bear arms, or the fact that even hate speech must be protected. She is reinforcing the point about generational ties to freedom.
There is more to the interview obviously, but this is the big talking point on X right now.
Video is cued to her initial statement on this.

Honesty is very refreshing and quite frankly demonstrates that she is not racist. If she were she wouldn’t pay him the respect of giving him her true feelings. She just pander and treat him like a child slave on the democrat plantation.

Poorly worded, I'm guessing. She's trying to make the (valid) case that immigrants don't have any analogous to 1A or 2A from their country of origins histories.
But why'd she have to single out Indian? Like it matters. The internet is going to write its own narrative.

She's absolutely correct.
Those from outside our culture tend to default to their own.
The dems know this obviously.

Because she was speaking to Vivek.
Her stance would be the same for other cultures as well.

How is Ann Coulter still a thing

Do they know she used to frick this guy?

She is another GOP dinosaur that needs to be put down.

While true, it doesn't negate what she's saying. I think she has a point.

She has a great point. And it’s not at all racist. I wouldn’t trust a white Brit or Aussie around the 2a for love or money.

Coulter is a paid influencer that comes out every election that the GOPe wants to lose in order to turn off independent voters that might lean right.

Nope, That’s definitely racist.
I don’t think it’s unadulterated evil, but it’s a lite racism.

I really don’t think she cares. When people are talking about her, she stays relevant

So Vivek is going to promote the racist angle judging by that tweet.

I can see why you would think that but her point isn’t predicated on the color of his skin it’s based on his culture not being steeped in American values. You can disagree with its wisdom but it’s not racist.
