I thought you were talking of the city of St. George

If you make it real easy to vote and send ballots to everyone, yes, you can have very high participation.
But we all know that is not what happened.

Mail ballot to address, knowing when it will be delivered.
Send a small team to collect those ballots once they're in mail boxes, delivered.
Bring those ballots to an individual or small team who then fills them out based on the mailing information and the votes being cast toward the "preferred" candidate.
Keep these illegal ballots on standby until which time comes that they are required to achieve the goal of ensuring the "preferred" candidate has more votes than the other guy.
Profit and "win".
I believe in this theory but not the execution. It would be too hard to steal envelopes out of actual mailboxes without getting caught. Too hard to get volumes needed.
So perhaps the steal happened at the post office or even the mail carrier? Would only take a few insiders to steal a lot in a district.

Turnout in Wisconsin was 67% in 2016 and 72% in 2020. Wisconsin has ranked in the top 5 in voter turnout every presidential election since 2000. There's nothing suspicious about turnout in Wisconsin unless you carry that suspicion to the entire country.
Hey shite for brains, we are talking about Milwaukee not the state, and its a very poor attempt at deflection.
But I do appreciate the fact that you pointed out they have been doing this since at least 2000

I don’t give a shite what you think. But…
Here’s an idea. Men shouldn’t use the bathroom with little girls.
Here’s another idea.

Some of the communities had over 100% of eligible voters vote.
Horseshite. That's a lie.
The voter turnout only exceeds !00% if you use as the eligible voter population the 5 year average of the American Community Survey which skews the population lower-- which is exactly what you use to made your bogus calculations of voter turnout.
I have called you out on that on this board more than once but you keep posting this false crap.
Why would you keep doing that when yoo know it's wrong?

Of course not. The Dems cheated. But Trump foolishly ran down the wrong path and accused them of things of which they were perfectly innocent. Things like tampering with the voting machines. It was perfectly obvious how they cheated; they harvested votes, which is illegal.

Right, try to keep up. The OP is misleading, which I pointed out. Milwaukee's turnout was not 89%, that's a state figure calculated by the numbers of voters divided by registered voters.
You then wanted to talk about the entire country
quote:
Uh, bullshite. The average voting was less than 60% in 2016, it skyrocketed by 21 million votes in 2020
So clearly we aren't just talking about Milwaukee, unless you were saying that 21 million more people voted in Milwaukee.
If you'd like to talk about the city of Milwaukee
247,836 votes for President in 2016
247,695 votes for President in 2020
quote:
But I do appreciate the fact that you pointed out they have been doing this since at least 2000
It is informative that Wisconsinites have been turning out to vote in high numbers since 2000. It undermines this entire misleading and incorrect thread.

In your previous post you stated that Wisconsin had 72% turnout.

I don’t know, what’s the normal turnout and what has been the highest turnout for any large city to date?

In your previous post you stated that Wisconsin had 72% turnout.
The 89% number is based on voters/registered voters
The 72% number is based on voters/voting age population
72% is the official voter turnout according to the state. It's how the majority, if not all, states calculate turnout. No matter how it's calculated, Wisconsin doesn't stand out in any meaningful way other than the fact that it is a high turnout state based on the past 20+ years.

quote:Many states, including Wisconsin, that allow same day voting registration, calculate the voter turnout by using the eligible voting age population. Since voters are registering on election day it is sometime well after the election before the state can accurately report the number of registered voters.
In your previous post you stated that Wisconsin had 72% turnout.
Also, by doing the calculaton using voting age elibleis voters is easier to compare turnout in sucessive elections because the method of calculation is constant.
quote:AP
many states, including Wisconsin, actually use metrics such as the voting-age population to calculate voter turnout, for a more representative estimate. By that measure, Wisconsin’s 2020 turnout was around 73%.
