Middle school track meet at Collierville HS marred by 'racial' threats from lacrosse spe

For a background. Collierville is a wealthy suburb of Memphis and have a new, big high school that many in Memphis hate.
Here’s the thing. My son was at the game. He has several close friends that are in the team. He and his friends said none of that ever happened. The lacrosse match vs a Nashville school was delayed 45 min and it was apparently the referee’s who were causing the most trouble. I don’t know if it was the lacrosse refs or who though.
But, really great how it’s always race when something goes wrong.
Sorry for the wall of text.

Ronald and Barbara King have been officiating high school track and field meets around west Tennessee for going on 40 years, and never before had they experienced what happened Saturday at Collierville High School.
They were helping officiate a Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association (TMSAA) sectional meet for A/AA schools at Collierville’s stadium. The meet was running long, and Collierville’s boys lacrosse team had a playoff game against Brentwood Academy scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
That’s how, according to the Kings, tensions about the overlapping events rose to a point in which those participating in the track and field meet felt threatened by coaches, parents and athletes from the lacrosse team, and believed it to be racially motivated.
quote:
King wrote that the sectional event was “marred by disrespectful and racial behavior," and called it “a purely racially motivated attack filled with hate and prejudice." He noted that parents and spectators from the lacrosse team were “spewing disgusting language” at the middle school track and field participants.
quote:
King cited a specific moment early on in the confrontation in which he alleged “fans were circled on the fence, saying words such as ‘these Black (expletive) need to get off the field,’ which then forced a dominantly black crowd to feel threatened by a dominantly white crowd automatically.”

If we’re quoting them I doubt they would have capitalized black.

Do they hate it because it's big and nice and not as diverse as Memphis schools?

Whenever something is reported as racist, we know the opposite happened.

Did these people somehow skip middle school themselves?
That's what we used to call Saturday afternoon.

Wait, which race was dominant in the crowd?

None of that happened. Also...
Meh... y'all are backwoods hooterville type of people. And nobody in Memphis hates your high school. Y'all just wish you were Germantown.
That was sarcasm, btw.
Hell, the Memphis school system sucked SO badly that they folded, forcing Shelby County to absorb them... which, in an effort to keep their schools from sucking... Bartlett/Germantown/Collierville/Lakeland formed their own individual school systems. Meaning... the new Shelby County school system is nothing more than the old Memphis school system.
But none of that "racist" crap happened at that track meet.

Didn’t happen. LaCrosse folks would have gone to Dyers for a burger and waited patiently.
