re: Sounds like Israel's assault on Rafah is imminent

They are complicit as well, they don’t want to accept them so they can say “we stood up to Israel”
Egypt and Jordan have been there and done that re: bringing the refugees in. The Palestinians immediately reverted to their shithole tribal/terroristic antics in both countries.
Neither wants that shite again, and neither have come out with a particularly anti-Israeli position on this war either.

I’ve said multiple times on here that I don’t care if they kill every one of them as long as the US isn’t involved.
My statement still stands.

There is a reason no one wants these people.
They are backwards, not capable of self governance, violent, and unrulable.
They only understand force. Thats it.
Islam is 100% incompatible with western civilization.

Jesus Christ no I’m not. And I have never and will never use the term “genocide” for this situation
I’m mad Israel is using this attack as an excuse to eventually drive out everyone from Gaza, and what I see as the clear eventuality that the US will bear the majority of the burden of taking in. That’s it.
I could argue with you for hours about the decades and decades of actions that have led to this, but in the moment this is the problem and why I am mad.

I think everyone is in the same boat. The difference is your emphasis on the former, when the latter is the real problem.

The population of Gaza climbs by thousands every year.
If Israel is committing genocide, they are literally the worst at committing genocide in the history of genocide.

The genocide comment is just what the Progressives call it. The rest of us know the truth.
This is a frick around and find out situation. I never stand in the way of someone's just reward.

Where I’m in a different boat, and why I am trying to spread little nuggets of truth, is a lot of the citizens in the US go with propaganda lines that garner up support that just aren’t true and it drives me crazy.
This ripple effect is what got us into the position of our government being so complicit that it’s a valid speculation that we will take in the refugees to clean up Israel’s mess. That is all I’m trying to do, get people to think about this more critically.
I’m not a radical leftist terrorist supporter, anti colonialist fig. I’m a stanch non interventionist and libertarian leaning conservative

Be a non interventionist instead. Isolationists dont generally understand what they are advocating.

Thanks pank
I know we’ve disagreed on some things on this topic, but people jump to all kinds of conclusions about me because I’m not repeating the cliche talking points. At the core of the matter I’m on the same side as most of you but trying to point out glaring blind spots.

Non interventionist is what I meant. Thanks for pointing that out

Also I’m 100% opposed to the protesters and as ideologically opposed to them as I possible could be.
The protests themselves could be very valid and useful, but these people arrived at their conclusions for entirely the wrong reasons and have poisoned any possibility of productive discussion or policy change. So it’s just a disaster all around.

Hamas spends all their time trying to win the PR war, instead of the actual war.
That's because Hamas can't win an actual war with Israel. Best they can do is garner sympathetic help from western nations (which they are, to some degree, doing) to help them achieve whatever their actual goals are against Israel.
From their perspective Israel would just like to rid themselves, once and for all, of the "problem" they consider Palestine to be. They've long wanted that opportunity, and the (presumably) unprovoked attack on Israeli civilians have given them the basis. Almost like their 9/11.
Hamas would be wise to agree to some sort of truce before the area gets completely destroyed. But reason and religious fervor almost never go hand in hand. I guess the one silver lining for Hamas and the Palestinians is that western nations are more sympathetic to their plight than at any point in history. See college campuses today.
45 years ago Iran brazenly stormed the US embassy and took hostages. You couldn't go anywhere in the US without seeing a yellow ribbon and hate for Iran. Today, we see protest on campuses essentially in favor of Hamas. Quite the juxtaposition. They've been able to successfully weaponize the West's virtue signaling proclivity

Where are they supposed to go? This was like two months ago.
After watching Palestinians celebrating in the streets after Oct 7 I frankly don't gaf however to answer your question

Col. Nadav Shoshani, an army spokesman, said some 100,000 people were being ordered to move to a nearby Israel-declared humanitarian zone called Muwasi. He said Israel published a map of the evacuation area.
Israel is providing tents, health care and food and water.

But to what end? If they are all killed and their cities destroyed, they want people to remember them fondly?
Israel has not let up in their attack. They have every intention of wiping them out.

Remember that when it happens and people cry about all the “innocent civilians” who are injured or killed. They’ve had plenty of time to gtfo.
