This is really good. She should run for office and take Kennedy, Scalise, and Johnson on.

She’s right.

White-only neighborhoods/communities aren’t a bad thing.

She’s not random, she’s infamous.

Holocaust denial is one of her past tricks.

She makes the same mistake almost every other news outlet is making: St George didn't "break off" from Baton Rouge, it was never a part of Baton Rouge.

The national take on St George has been a great lesson in how the media takes a narrative they like and just regurgitate it over and over rather than take a few minutes to research it.

The pricks even use the word secession to describe it.

She starts off by saying they broke away from Baton Rouge, so naw.

There’s much better examples which can serve the purpose of illustrating that lesson. That statement, and a bunch of y’all are saying it, is semantics.

This is absolutely about getting away from blacks and all their crime and ignorance and having them frick off with some accountability in tow.

It's not, though. Not at all.

How? If you want to talk about semantics, how in the hell is what you said even true?

There is no physical moving.

The demographics of Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parish change 0.0%.

The population of Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parish change 0.0%.

The jurisdiction of Baton Rouge changes 0.0%.

Who is "getting away"? from whom?

I understand that, But they are now going to keep the local tax dollars in their own neighborhood. That is the change. The rest of this “argument” is fluff and invented by the media.

Residents of Lakeview in NO has tried for this for years. I believe that their problem is that the mayor of NO must approve it. Obviously, no mayor will agree to giving away that large of a tax base.

For the parish....or it's only supposed to be the parish. The City of Baton Rouge stealing tens of millions of dollars from the parish fund they're not really supposed to get is a BR problem. This is the only reason why there is any opposition, b/c the city officials don't want their theft to end.

Now they're going to have to live within their own means and they're throwing a hissy fit about it.

Completely different situation, I believe. While Orleans Parish and the City of New Orleans are technically governed the same, there are no unincorporated areas. It's all Orleans. EBR is different. There are still unincorporated areas of EBR. Lakeview would be an actual example of "breaking away".
