Is it simply that Ack is a lefty?

I know it’s early. But. Not feeling it.

Probably to give Milazzo a break.

Guess Jay wanted a catcher who can't hit or field.

Maybe Milazzo could use a break? I imagine he'll be in the game later.

A&M is throwing a righty and maybe they want more lefty bats?

A break against the #1 team and also when every single win is a big deal?

Have we always given the catcher a break ever so often?

I think he’s caught like 9 games in a row. So yes.

Lol do you have any idea how physically taxing it is to catch 27 innings of high level baseball in under 72 hours?

One announcer thought that it was because A&Ms starter is a righty and Jay wanted another lefty in the line up.

That’s also the other reason, but I feel balls, strikes and outs with Milazzo would trump Neal’s bat.

I hope I’m wrong and Neal hammers at the plate today.

He might come in later and be more fresher when it matters most as opposed to wearing him out and not being as sharp when it matters most.

You realize pretty much no catchers in MLB catch three straight days’ right?

That’s a good reasoning. And thanks for not patronizing me.

Day game after a night game. Even MLB rests their catchers following a night game.

Catching 3 9 inning games in a row is tough. Day game following a late night game as well.
