When I was dating, women were responsive to a man having confidence and a sense of humor.Self reliance was a must for a guy dating in the 70's & 80's.Guys didn't let women take care of them back then, the way I've seen happening since the 90's..When it came to serious relationships, women cared more about being in a relationship with a financially responsible guy than the best looking guy back then.

Not sure if those are important to young women in 2024. For around half of a recent college graduate's life, they've been conditioned to believe appearances are more important than reality. I bet a lot of them have no idea what the guys they date are like when they first go out. They probably go by what the guy's Instagram, twitter and tick tok pages are like.

I'm old and crippled up at 64, but I still get the same looks from women I got when I was a 22 year old Greek God. Even though I can't win many fights or even a footrace, I am still comfortable with who I am, what I've done, and what I will do .
