I still wonder how he won a championship in Boston

Having 3 first ballot hall of famers in their prime sure helps. The question should be how did he not win multiple championships in Boston? They had a window for a few seasons with a weak Eastern Conference before the Heat put together their big 3 and the D-Rose led Bulls became a contender.

Griffin was 30-13 when he got fired. Doc took over a team that was winning 70% of their games and posted a 17-19 record in the regular season plus a first round playoff exit. If that doesn't prove how over rated Doc is as a coach, I don't know what will.

Crazy - Would’ve won 2 with Celtics had Kendrick not gotten hurt.

That's Bill Simmons level copium. Until today, I assumed only he and maybe Doc Rivers (though I seriously doubt he truly believes it) believed that fantasy.

Oh come on lol. Everyone remembers Sheed used the playoffs to get into shape. Kendrick was super limited as a player but very good at interior defense

Funny how it had the similar "massive underachievers" hallmark of other Doc Rivers' teams.

He's a middle of the pack coach in a profession where middle of the pack coaches aren't supposed to last even half as long as he has.

A middle-of-the-pack coach who had the good fortune of going to teams with upper talent. That was his true genius.

Would have win 3 if KG hadn’t gotten hurt in 2009 and if Ray Allen could have hit the broad side of a barn in Gm 7 in 2010.

That said, Doc Rivers is terrible. Always has been.

When Doc took the Clippers job he was totally aware of the kind of person Donald Sterling was/is, so why did he go to work for him? Let's see, maybe it was a ton of $$$ he was being paid and maybe just maybe having CP3, Blake & DeAndre all in their prime, to go along with the $$$.

Then, when Sterling's private convo was leaked, Doc Hypocrite and his team were so very badly hurt that they almost didn't play their next game because of their unfathomable suffering coming from the known questionable person who pays them tons of $$$.

Amazing how Doc & team were able to go on, but obviously not go on very well in the playoffs.
